The expected design for the 2019-2020 season
The design is quite similar to the one sported by the Croatia national team over the years. The FC Barcelona 2019-2020 shirt will be with a blaugrana checkerboard. The sponsors should remain the same. Rakuten will be on the front of the jersey whilst Beko will be on the left arm. The Unicef logo should be, as it has been since the club started using sponsorships for their shirt, on the back of the jersey.

No vertical stripes for the 3rd time in 7 seasons
The club has been known worldwide for its iconic blaugrana vertical stripes. The number of stripes has hugely varied over the history of the club. Even the blue and red colours have had different tints. However, Nike has had some liberty with regards to the design of the FC Barcelona home shirt over the past years, to the great displeasure of the socios.
Blaugrana gradient for the 2012-2013 season
For the 2012-2013 season, FC Barcelona wore a blaugrana shirt indeed, but the vertical stripes were replaced by a blaugrana gradient.

Horizontal blaugrana stripes during the 2015-2016 season
Three seasons later, for the 2015-2016 football season, the American manufacturer surprised everyone with blue and red horizontal stripes.

This will be the third time in the past seven years that FC Barcelona does not have vertical blaugrana stripes on its home shirt. The board of directors of the Catalan club have already given their approval to the design. Nike can begin its preparation and manufacture.
